  • Condition: This bottle was located by store owner at a colonial site in Eastern Virginia in tidal waters in the Yorktown vicinity . The bottles usually contain river material inside the bottles, i.e., mud, sand, gravel and more however due to the hole on 1/3 of the back side it has been cleaned out. Since the bottles are 300-350 years old they are fragile and should only be picked up by the bottom. This bottle has a great display side and the hole is not visible on the display side.

English Black Glass Mallet Bottle that dates between 1720-1730 that was located in Virginia tidal waters near significant Colonial Homesites by the store owner close to the Yorktown area.  Own a piece of history that ranges 300-350 years old!  Great display side.  The bottle is approximately 6.35 inches high and 5 inches wide at the base.  The shipping takes a large box to insure in the bottle remains intact with plenty of packing material.   This bottle is a fantastic artifact that should look fantastic on a shelf  that should be affordable due to the hole on less than one third of the back side on the bottle.  Stringer is whole.
